Had a good lunch!!
Had a great lunch today at Hamilton..was supposed to go out for dinner with the gals..but Amy was too tired..so we thought we will do lunch instead..Doesnt matter lah, still as good! Just look at the pics man.. Hehe..the nachos dip was yummyyy...
After lunch, we decided to go charlestown for awhile..Alison said she wants to have some air con, cos temperatures suddenly rose! ! It was still chilly in the morning and then rose to 31 degrees... haha..and
Aiyoh the shopaholic me bought a bracelet and one for Mich and a white belt.Oh theres this accessories shop which has really cheap and pretty accessories..mainly earrings, rings, bracelets etc..Kavi and i agreed that we can spend hours in that shop..*girls!!*
As for the white belt, suddenly had the urge to buy a belt haha..saw a few the last time, but they were all too long..the length for this is quite alrite..though it would be gd if they had S..but sold out liaoz..so got the M instead..
*to the pongz, i have got a white one now haha..so can get other colours ya?* erm..neutral colours wld be gd..but hor..i dont wan sooo many belts leh..hehe..nvm i shall update u all in the mails again*

Hou boring ah...
Started revision for my exams liaoz..of cos its unwillingly..so sianz..still have got an assignment due next fri :(
My mummy came onto icq just now! hiakz..but huh..my hse pc too old liaoz..or i think it has been infected with too many viruses..kept hanging..so i ended up chatting with her on the phone..After we hung up, i realised how close we have became ever since i came here to study..I wasnt that close to her when i was younger..now, we can talk about anything under the sun...
When i was younger, i never told her any of my problems, because i was either afraid she will scold me or she will give her point of view and insist hers is right..and i will get pissed off haha..I am glad i have matured in my thinking and begun to cherish my loved ones more and the things they have done for me...guess my mum is not so worried about me now since i have became more independent..
Hmm..i miss my popo and gong gong too...

Eventful weekend..
Feeling so full now, just came back from Xueling's place. She invited us and her korean friends over for dinner..there was soooo much food!! And every dish was so delicious..so here i am now..so so full..At first, we called a cab to get home cos it was too dark to walk home..then when our korean friends knew we wanted to go home, they offered to give us a lift...but we already called for the cab..But they said its ok..just ignore it hahaha..and when we were just getting into Yuna's car, we saw the cab waiting at the road outside the house! hehehe..hope he will just leave and wont cause any trouble for Xueling, cos we used her house phone to call..hopefully they dont have a system to keep records for the numbers that have called...
Before the sumptuous dinner, kavi and i went to Glendale to catch - Shall We Dance? by Richard Gere and J.Lo..It was quite a light hearted movie, about ball room dancing..and after the show, both us felt like dancing hahaha...And we had subway for lunch!! We didnt spend much for this outing cos thanks to kavi's movie passes...and i had this coupon for the subway..haha and i was saying it will be nice if we had a complimentary bus ride or something...
And yesterday, we went shopping at Charlestown!! Didnt buy any clothings this time..instead i bought 2 rings and a bracelet!! Theres this pink ring which Kavi thoughtfully passed to me when she was looking at the rings..it is so pretttyyyy, i liked it so much and bought it right away.... Kavi, thanks for looking out for mi!! *hugz* Wanted to get a belt too..but they didnt have the length i wanted..nvm..shall go back singapore and search!! Far East here i commmmeee..
Then Xueling stayed over cos it was raining when she wanted to go home..so we said she shld just stay over at our place...It was good..girly thing again..and three of us watched The Terminal after dinner..
Overall, i had heaps of fun going out man..on a more serious note, i had some unpleasant encounters too..I guess it all boils down to me being too sensitive on the way the other party speaks either on the phone or on msn..I realised i care too much about words..and there are times where i just interpret wrongly what the other party has intended to put across intitially...Then again, they could always be put across in a way where it shouldnt be that ambiguous that leaves the receiver to expand their interpretation in any way!!! Well, everyone has their own way of expressing themselves..it just depends on how well we know the person..and how accomodating or understanding we want to be towards the people around us. Sighz..phone calls with my bf havnt been very pleasant lately..i was offended with some of the words he had used..both of us had our own explanations, stand and reason for the way we spoke to each other day. It is difficult to come to a point where we both can agree to things when we have different views about the magnitude of the problem...Or rather, to me, i view certain things which he thinks otherwise to be taken seriously..
Oh well..blame it partially on the distance? Perhaps..
Shant think about it anymore..it has already passed..I have learnt to not take certain things too seriously..life is too short to contemplate on the unhappiness...Sometimes, they are better off be just left aside to be forgotten as time passes..But then huh, there are times where i just cant help it lah..cos the problem is just too annoying or big that i cant ignore it..have to sit down and think/cry/complain..C'est la Vie!!

Nottie gals..
Aiyoh it had been raining for days!! continouslyyy..arrgghhhh
Had classes today and met up with Xueling for lunch..She strongly recommended this fish n chips shop which was a stone's throw away from her house..As Kavi and i had initally decided to go for this career talk at 2 pm, we had a 2 hrs break in between so we decided to have lunch together.
The shop looked a lil dodgy..but it was clean..The lady that served us had blue and pink streaks in her hair and there was only one other lady helping her..I had mexicana burger it was quite delicious..there was a beef patty, cheese, nachos, lettuce, raw onions ( hate em), tomatoes with hot ( really fiery man) chilli sauce and sour cream..and had potato scallop. Sighz i was looking forward to sink my teeth into some scallops..but NO, potato scallop has NO scallops inside :( its just flatten mashed potato shaped like a scallop and fried..
Kavi had chicken mexicana burger with a chicken schnitzel and the same fillings and a fish cocktail..
Xueling ordered fish cocktail, potato scallop and a burger called The Works..there were heaps of filling inside man..beef pattie, fried egg, beetroot, salad, bacon i think..and the sauces..too many cant rem liaoz haha
After the heavy lunch, we had some time left and chatted for abit in Xueling's room..then i guess we were both feeling lazy haha..and decided to not go for the talk and stayed in her place...hehe..=p
We spent the afternoon chilling..it was really nice..watched this funny korean movie, listened to such soothing music that we almost fell asleep on her comfy bed..took pics..checked out her new additions to her massive collection of cosmetics and just chatted/gossiped *snigger* It was so funnnn...a girly bonding session!!
We would have stayed on longer if we didnt need to worry about it getting too dark and dangerous to walk back home..Sighz, we had to pick ourselves up from our super lazy mode and armed with brollies..we headed home..It took us 30 mins to walk back!!
Yeah..thats our eventful and fun afternoon!! We should do that more often ya girls? If only we had more time..hehe..looking forward to this fri's girly shopping hiakzz...Gotta enjoy before slogging for exam revision next week man :(

Monday blues..:(
Listening to Dido's Life for Rent...
Feeling kinda lost...guess its the monday blues again..When night falls, my mood changes too..hate it esp when its in the evening..i just feel blu-er...
Ever wondered at any one time of your life, if the choice you have made is right? I am always faced with this question time and again..Especially on the choice i have made to come over and the course i am in..Theres no turning back anyway..just have to endure and carry on..Cant let my mum down..Want my grandparents to be proud of me...
What would i have been doing if i chose to stay in Singapore?
Guess I am really tired of being a student..Well, many of you might choose to disagree...and will say being a student are the best times in life, you have all the freedom etc...
Oh well, I just want to experience other phases in life other than studying..I want to have a career..to be able to earn..Sighz wats the point of yearning all the time when its not gonna make me feel better cos i have to face up to it and go through all this torture for another year...

Outing!!~
Quite an eventful day today!! Hiaks..Kavi and I went to Waratah, it was practically a food village man..Red Rooster (lunch), Baskin Robbins ( had our ice cream there), Bakers Delight, Subway, Darrell Lea, etc..and Coles and K Mart. We shopped in K Mart, bought a toiletries bag and a bonds underwear *haha*..I saw a Pooh bear which is so so so cuteee..but it costs 19.95..hmm didnt feel like spending that 20 bucks on the bear leh..
Perhaps i might change my mind huh..Anyway, we went Red Rooster for lunch..sighz..i took pics of our food but the program cant get to work! I think the school network has this firewall that has blocked it!! ARGGGHHH...I AM SO ANNOYED!! Kavi and I wanted to try Red Rooster for a long long time liaoz..well, it wasnt that great..the place was not very tidy, the trays were dirty, and the chip box was only 3/4 filled!! Cheated us of our money man..
Then we made our way to Coles, to get some rice and washing powder.V impressed with the tidiness of the aisles!! Most of the products were so neatly lined haha..Now i feel like i had some assignment to make observations about the cleanliness, the quality of the food of the places we have visited hehe..
Then the best part!! haha..we had yummy ice cream from Baskin Robbins..Kavi had this strawberry cheesecake flavour, it was really nice mann..had bits of the cheesecake base inside..and i had chocolate chip with some dont know what dough lah..it was yummy too..But we had to wolf it down cos we didnt want to miss the bus and under the sweltering sun, the ice creams were melting and trickling down every side of the cone...Nevertheless, it was yummmmyyyy!~!~

Lazy Friday..
Hmm..like my title suggests..its a lazy day for me today. Thankfully, the weather isnt as warm as yest! Tried to pack some of my clothes and to decide what i should bring back and leave here. Ma fan..Not much progress, will be more motivated to pack when the date to leaving this stupid place draws closer!! Finally finished reading a book i have left long time ago..called Spitting Feathers by Kelly Harte. Its alrite..not that fantastic, the story is about this gal that had to look after a remarkably intelligent parrot called Sir Galahad in exchange for a room to live in while she works as a food photographer..and she fell in love with the gardener of that house she was living in..when in the first place she finds him rather bossy and weird.
Gotta start reading 2 more books, Street Dreams by Faye Kellerman and Fat Chance by Deborah Blumenthal..should try to start both books at the same time haha..used to do that in sec sch days...

My first blog entry!~!~
Heheh..I have finally decided to own a personal blog as well!! Have been reading blogs of friends and some other people..and thought it could be quite interesting and fun to keep one myself. But then huh, I wonder if this is just a short lived interest haha..So friends out there, that is if i do have any who will read mine regularly. You will know why there are no entries suddenly..because Jo has forgotten or simply too lazy to do it! hhehe..Ay i am a busy girl you know.
The reason to why i have suddenly decided to start a blog is also cos i have some time on my hands before the exams start..Just had a test today..Really glad its over, have been revising for it for more than a week..and its torturous!!
I gotta write this down!! The temperature today reached a 37 degree Celsius!! My gdness..Its sooooo warmmmm..Kavi and i were walking to uni and the sun was just scorching, air was so warm that it was almost suffocating..and there are no air con in our roommmsss...But thanks to april and derek, they have kindly lended us fans..phewww..*cool relief*
Ohh i must talk about my dinner as well..haha, it was superb..As the weather was so warm, we simply didnt have any appetite for a cooked and warm dinner..Then Kavi brilliantly came up with an idea about having a sandwich for dinner..ooohh yum..

Bread roll with smoked turkey breast, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers
Salad with salsa, romano cheese ( yesh, Kavi says it smelt like p**E hahahah) and corn chips
