Like my title suggests, I had a great weekend!! Hiakz..Caught Bridget Jones and Shutter...not bad..but Shutter was so scary!! *shudders*
Pauline took half day off on friday..accompanied her to town, cos she wanted to look for a top for the wedding dinner on saturday..Jeff and all of his friends went, i was supposed to go but nah..I had a more interesting event to attend --> JAY'S CONCERT!!
He was awsoommeee...i realised he is so charismatic! hiakz..and the shirts he wore were very nice..and he has got a great voice..overall, i found it really good and entertaining!! I am glad i went for the concert rather than the wedding dinner..though it was held at Fullerton ( Swaku me havnt been in there before)
Then i had to rush to Madam Wong after that..To avoid the crowd at the end of the concert, Mabel and i left our seats and stood behind the seats where the exit was when he was singing his last song..by the way, he had 2 encores haha..big shot huh...
Once he finished, we dashed to the bus stop haha..and caught the bus before everyone came out..The timing was just nice..cos the rest had finished the dinner..so they picked mi up at city hall and drove the 3 of us ( Pauline, mi and Angeline) to mw..while the rest of the guys headed towards tanjong pagar to some ktv pub..
Well well..i started off my intake of alcohol of that nite with half a glass of white wine, next came chivas with green tea..not bad..then a tequila shot..compliments from adrian, pauline's friend..then more chivas...and sips of beer...wahhh...i was so intoxicated i tell ya...of cos all that didnt go down well and ended up in the toilet bowl :( And some below my block *lol*
Woke up the next day with a heavy head..managed to climb out of bed and headed to the hawker centre for brunch..Jeff and i were so ravenous with hunger..haha..ordered hokkien mee, 2 popiahs, rojak, fried oyster omelette, sugar cane juice...piggyssss...
And i had a goreng pisang for dessert...Oh yah..it was raining so heavily yest...that the road beside my block was flooded...and a bus No 16 broke down..it stopped just beside the hawker ctr lah..thats why i know...not becos i m Kpo ok...
Then decided to go Marina for 'Shutter'...i find the ending the spookiest, if theres such a word..*shudders*
Hmm..just received more bad news about our attachments in aust..sianz..from the initial proposed 5 weeks of stay in Newcastle..has extended to 10 weeks and now..till June...SUX!!
And our attachment in singapore will only start on 31st Jan..which means we will miss some workshops which would have started in Uni..:(
Since we are only starting in Jan..i am thinking of working..but then again, i cant bear to leave my leisurely life now..sighz..of cos working will bring in extra pocket money...*dilemma*
And I still havnt gone to my Mambo and Liquid rm on weds!! Waiting for my kakis to come backkkkk...

I want to be financially independent!!
Had breakfast with Jeff this morning..
Was on the mrt just now and there was this china lady and her daughter that annoyed the hell out of mi man! Well, i was holding on to the overhead handle when both of them rushed in..and that stoopid china lady happily came over and snatched the handle from my hand!! Wat the ?!! Is that rude or wat?! Well..the train was packed but that dont give her daughter a reason to lean on me loh!! Yesh..practically LEAN ON ME...Argghh..irritating..
Just got back from Orchard..Met up with Elizabeth for dinner at Spageddies..It was really nice of her to give me a treat...Had soft shelled crab, calamari, spaghetti with chicken..Yummy!
Elizabeth looked really nice in her work clothes! She was wearing a blue striped long sleeved blouse and a black skirt..She wanted to buy more work clothes, so we went to G2000..and i tried on this light green long sleeved blouse..and i like it sooo muchh..nah..wld have bought it if i had extra cash..sighz. Hate this feeling..
Sighz..been thinking if my choice to go over for studies was right..im already 23 and havnt even started my career...sianz...
No point thinking about it anyway..i gotta just hang on and finish it..one more bloody year to go..sux..

Chinese New Year Shopping?
My beauty sleep got disrupted by the radio..as usual..my grand dad had to turn up the volume like at 9 am..and my mum has to wake me up to help her type a sms!! Sighz..Couldnt get back to sleep after that..
Headed off to Jeff's place..Bought lunch for him and rotted the time away till he had to meet a client at TM..while i occupied myself by going for an express manicure..and tried on a few dresses, was hoping i could get sth for CNY..haha..i didnt expect to find anything nice..but i did! Got a tube like dress! hiakzz..It was $55, but it was on a 10% discount...yeah..so not that bad lah..
But the sales girl at the shop was trying to get into my gd books in the hope of me buying the more expensive dress..i was deciding between 2 dresses..but i still chose the one that was cheaper haha...cos its nicer mah!
Her praises for me : Wah your legs are so skinny...can wear more dresses lah...Your arms very thin also hor.. You look nice in a tube dress because your shoulders are very nice...
YEAH RITE...she happened to comment on all the parts where i m most dissatisfied with!
Sighz..i am feeling broke already..and i saw this pair of heels which i like v much too..$39 :(
If i dont have that attachment in jan, i will go find a job...sighz..if only there are short assignments i can undertake huh...

Fun, fun, fun!!
Finally have got the time to blog!! hehe..As usual, the weather was too hot to handle for the first few hrs..but nevertheless, its still better than the hot AND dry weather in Aust.
Anyway..here are the list of things i did from thurs till yest...
~ Ate sotong balls from Old Chang Kee ( Jeff bought them when he came to fetch me from the airport, there was also pork floss bread, egg tarts and curry puffs! *grinz*)
~Ate Mum's mian xian..
~ Watched Incredibles
~Trimmed hair
~ Shopped at Bugis
~ Clubbed at Mw! hehe ( it was greattttt!!)
~ Met up with Elizabeth, Michelle, Pauline and Jeff's friends

The exams are finally over!! Im going home!! Heheh
Hehe..yeahh today marks the last of my exams!! It feels good not to have anything to stress about after such a long time!! No (Busy) on my msn nick!! ;p The paper was alrite, in fact out of the 3 i have had, i have the most confidence in this one..
Anyway, after the paper, we headed down to get pizza, chicken strips and garlic bread for dinner!! hehe.not forgetting pepsi lite..Dinner was exceptionally gd..i wonder why huh? hehe..
Then it was packing time..was sooo lazy to finish up my packing ya noe..but had to force myself to do it..Managed to borrow a weighing machine from the girls 2 houses away..thank gdness man..if not we are gonna be soo over the baggage limit!! The first time i checked..it was 9 kg over!! Arrgghh..so i have to handcarry my 6 kg worth of notes and textbook, then reluctantly pick some of my winter clothes and my cds to leave behind..aiyah, i wanted to bring some back cos wont be wearing them nez sem!!
Anyway, after taking them out huh..its still 32 kg! shucks..but dont think i wan to leave anything else behind liaoz lah!!
*Pray the check in counter staff is nice..hopefully its a guy..haha..cos we noticed most of the lady staff are very 'niao' = picky
Hmm..the feeling is so unreal..like the day i have been hoping and yearning for has finally came..but i dont feel as excited..no, dont get me wrong..theres happiness but i just feel the excitement isnt as much as it used to be..weird huh? Perhaps i am tired..from the paper..from packing, unpacking, carrying my luggage bags for weighing upteen times!! haha..
Waiting for hair to dry and gotta go to bed liaoz, but i am not feeling tired!! The coach will be coming to fetch us at 12 pm..flight is at 5 pm..will reach sin at 9.55 pm..Just asked kavi..i always forget the time..thought it was 10.55 pm...yeahh..
hehe..sat going clubbing you know? hehehe...

Packing..Shifting..Storage
Just finished taping and carrying down all the boxes we are going to leave in the storage...My arms and back are aching boy..signs of not exercising for a longggg time. We have a GRAND TOTAL of 22 boxes!! haha..ay that is inclusive of clothes, books, crockery etc..
Gonna be a busy morning tomorrow..cos we will then have to move all the boxes and bring them to the 2nd level of where our storage space will be...
There will always be some time in our life where we will get to meet some annoying people..Where their behaviour bewilders and thoughts are simple unfathomable..And you just wonder why they will have something to complain about in everyone that crosses their path..Why cant she just view things in a simpler way? And there are truly sincere people and friends around her but yet our actions will always be interpreted as negative as it can be by her. Isn't life tough enough to be away from home, I wonder where she gets her energy for blaming, harping abt something that happened 10 000 yrs ago, bitching, complaining abt how chamz she was and repeating stories about other people from huh..i really wonder...
Oh well..i guess she needs some enlightening..some awakening...and to stop and reflect on her past thoughts and actions so that her bitterness and viciousness wont get overboard and rule her life...thats what i feel abt her...sighz..

Last weekend here..
Been a long time since i have blogged huh..but of course, i was busy mugging...JUST ONE MORE TO GO..Thank god its the last paper..if not i dont think i will have the energy and discipline to do this 'isolation-kinda' revision for another day!!
This is the last weekend I am gonna be stuck here! Yayyy..Things are more or less packed..just that i havnt packed my lugguage yet..Going to move our things to the storage on Mon..
Paper on wed..at 1.45 pm..Simply cant wait for it to be over..torture..
I suddenly remembered this advertisement..think its a Swatch or Casio advert..it has this narration that goes What does a millisec mean to an athlete at a race? What does a month mean to an expecting mum sth like that? anyone remembers??
They should include me inside..What does a day mean to this girl stuck in Newcastle? *lol*
Hehe..Jeff just told me he is bringing me for a midnight show next friday..called Incredibles if i m not wrong..then gonna stay over and i can choose to go anywhere, do anything i like on that day! Yayyy..hiakz..Mummy is gonna take leave on the 18th and 19th too! And I am gonna meet Michelle on the 19th after she comes back from Batam..hehe..Now you all know why i keep saying i cant wait huh..

Happy Birthday Kavi!!
Happy Birthday Kavi!! Hiakz..it was an exciting and fun filled day today...Had a 3 hr paper...I was practically rushing for the last question man..sighz..
Anyway..after the paper..with the help Luci and Kendal and some friend..they managed to keep Kavi occupied while i sneaked over to Jiahui's place to get things organised...haha..With the help of Jiahui, we got her a beautiful and super delicious mudcake!! We got everything and everyone ready downstairs and i pretended to call for Kavi's help..hiakzz...
Should have videorecorded everything man...when she came down...that look on her face was so funny!! hhaha...Her eyes grew wide with surprise when she saw all of us and the cake with candles lit...After eating the super chocolatey cake...April suggested that we went shopping...yeah...so off we went to charlestown...
I bought a skirt at TEMT..can wear for work...quite nicee...and kavi, april and i bought the same pair of earrings from Sportsgirl...its simple but niceee...gd deal too....hiakzz
Then we came back and decided to stay home cos we were too tired..had yummy tuna pasta bake for dinner...
Yeahh...the day was good...It makes me happy to see my friends happy...:)

Cant seem to remember...
I really shouldnt be here blogging man..but sighz, i cant seem to remember the stuff i have memorised!! and that feeling is horrid!! *ARGGHH* So here i am hiding from the agony of it..temporarily!
Mum called me..and coincidentally(perhaps not) for the 4th time, i have contemplated to call home..but didnt..and mum will call!! How amazing boy, it really has gotta do with the bond between us..Got to know that granddad almost fell while trying to sit back onto the wheelchair, that shocked me so much..I was worried when mum was telling me the whole story..but only when i told Jeff about it later on, i found my eyes welling up with tears..Jeff said i must have missed them so much and to add on, the incident that happened...
But i am alrite now, its the same feeling when you are bothered or saddened by something..and when u finally get to tell it to someone close to you, u just break down...or when someone shows you concern..
I am really glad gong gong is fine..i shall call him tmr..cos he was already in bed when mum called just now..so didnt get a chance to speak to him..
On a happier note, i dream of my cousin..and she was my pillion while i was test riding a PINK motorbike! yesh pals..haah Jo riding a motorbike!! So cool huh..perhaps its just a sign that i should get a riding license instead!! hohoho..ney..anyway i went online and checked the dream dictionary..and this is what is says :

Stagnant..
Boringg..revising for exams are a torture man..And to see the days crawl by painstakingly slowly doesnt make it any better... I yearn to go back to where I belong..where my loved ones are..the familiar surroundings and faces i have grown up with...
Life is so stagnant now, wake up - bathe- eat- study- eat- sleep..and the boring cycle continues till the exams...
Friends have always been an important part of my life..Through time, i realised this
~ Some of the friends i have are for keeps for life, to grow old with..and i know they will always be there for me through times of joys and sorrows..
~ some will only be there when they need you, for a purpose..
~ some only expects you to listen to them and never bothers to ask how are you
~ some talk to you just because they want to show how much better they are than you
~ some..some..
oh well..such are the people we meet in life who make us grow as a better person..who reflect upon us the goodness and badness of a character ..which we have a choice to follow and learn from or leave behind.
